To coincide with our upcoming performance with Shellac at Melbourne International Arts Festival and European tour to follow, the fine folk at TRL will release a new 12” that includes two new songs from us, coupled with remixes from world renowned artists Justin K Broadrick (Jesu, Godflesh), and UK group Factory Floor (DFA).

“Picking up where they left off on last year’s sensational Little Joy, “Wrapped Coast” is tribal post-punk clatter at its finest, like a slightly deranged bastard spawn of Boredoms and Mission of Burma. The beat has clear nods to late night dance and debauchery, making Factory Floor’s “The Michael Cliffe House Remix” a logical extension of the original.

The B-side stretches out, showcasing one of MY DISCO’s strongest suits: their ability to craft mesmerizing body music with space as their secret weapon. The effects are staggering, slightly creepy, and strangely seductive – made all the more so by Justin K Broadrick’s intensely sprawling remix.”
